Long time no see!

Long time folks! I know it has being forever since I have last posted! But!.. in my humble defense, I have a lot going on. So what about a quickie?

Updates: my Grad School in Management has began (FGV); I finally did a course of Meditation (Art of Living - Happiness Program) and another one of Art of Public Speaking (ICUAT - Liderança, Oratória e Valorização Humana); and last but not least, I am doing Bharatha Natyan, a Classic Indian Dance at the Indian Cultural Center; among other things. I am on fire this year!

Outcomes: I am broke and with no time at all on my hands whatsoever, but: I am learning so much - things that I really feel I lacked for the business world; met tons of new people; learned and started self practicing some yoga and I am trying to meditate more; I am able to speak in front of a crowd without nearly having a convulsion.

I feel like I am really doing something for my personal and professional development this year.

But I am also more conscious of the changes that I have to make and I feel like the clock is ticking for me. I start feeling exasperated by not achieving enough and frustrated for not finding my path. Sometimes I just feel it is all wrong and more and more my getaway plans seem reckless and stupid. I really need to build something on my own and for real.

Oh yeah, I also went to Orlando for a week, but it was too plain to write about it. And Florianópolis taking two buses full of happy exchange students to the beach. But let’s (re)start slow right? There is too much to catch up.

Btw, funny fact..

'Long time no see' is a grammatically comical greeting with English words organized by Chinese grammar. In Chinese there is a greeting 好久不见 (hǎo jiǔ bú jiàn), which can be translated literally as "long time, no see" (or, word to word, "very long time no see"). It is said that "Long time no see" was first used by Chinese-Americans.
