Restaurant Review: Myk

I am passionate about exploring new, exotic restaurants. And in my sagacious food quest I found some that caught my attention in my first days in SP: Myk, a Mediterranean restaurant.
MYK
Abbreviation for Mykonos, the decoration is minimalist, all white with details in straw, reminding of the typical Cycladic buildings in Greece.
For appetizer, we ordered a feta cheese flaky pastry covered with a generous amount of honey and nuts. It was pretty heavy, made me kind of full already. But thumbs up.
Main dishes were: Papotsakia (which is stuffed aubergine - literally ‘little shoes’) and grilled octopus with rustic potatoes; harmonized with a Greek white wine. I don't really get the difference between papoutsakia and moussaka, although the waiter explained it to me, but for me is same same, and I have had greater moussaka before. Not a total loss, just alright.
The Octopus was exquisite and one of their top recommendations of the house. And they added a special touch in the bucket where the wine was put for chilling: a charming flower bouquet! Love the details.
The dessert was the downside of the night. It was 'Chocolate Partuza': a selection of small desserts made with chocolate, supposed to be a "orgy" of flavors, since partuza is the translation of this word into Greek. However, although the chocolate was really good, it was too much of the same, too much chocolate, anything else to balance the flavor. Otherwise, everything would have been perfect. I should have tried something weirder. My bad.
